SOLUS AT OCULARIS: FLIX & KICKS
Flix & Kicks premiered new work by Solus members & invited guests in super-8mm, 16mm & vhs. In honour of Mad Sweeney, there was a serpentine motif running through the programme: as the fella said, you can't keep a good snake down! In true Solus fashon - No Holds Barred - the cabaret-style programme also featured a pre-patrick belly dancing invocation by Noirin Mccarthy (who has performed in & around both Dublin & New York) & a post-screening party with DJ Aenghus Hennessy.
